Interacting: Volunteering & Mediation – Strengthening Communities Together

With ICDRS

Volunteer with ICDRS – Hosted by Matt Lockwood

The Interact Community Dispute Resolution Service (ICDRS) is expanding, and we’re inviting passionate individuals to join us in delivering community-focused conflict resolution.

We’re currently seeking AMDRAS-accredited mediators at all experience levels:

  • Experienced mediators who are interested in mentoring and co-mediating
  • Newly trained mediators looking to gain practical experience through real cases

ICDRS uses a co-mediation model, where two mediators work together with people in conflict. This collaborative, balanced approach supports both the parties involved and the mediators delivering the service.

In addition to mediators, we’re also seeking volunteers for the following roles:

  • Triage Support & Business Admin – Assist with the behind-the-scenes coordination, case management systems, and team scheduling
  • Relationships Creator – Engage in community outreach, promote our services, and raise awareness through communication and partnerships
  • Webmaster & Designer – Maintain and improve our website, create content, and align our digital presence
  • Project Volunteers – Propose and lead focused initiatives that align with our mission

Whether you’re experienced in mediation, skilled in communications, tech-savvy, or simply passionate about making a difference—there’s a place for you at ICDRS.

Together, we can make conflict resolution more accessible and community-driven.
