Understanding AMDRAS Accreditation

What is AMDRAS?
The Australian Mediator and Dispute Resolution Accreditation Standards (AMDRAS) have replaced NMAS as the national framework for mediator accreditation in Australia.

Mediation Institute is proud to be an AMDRAS Recognised Accreditation Provider (RAP), offering training, assessment, and professional support to dispute resolution professionals across the country.

Accreditation and Membership Options

Under AMDRAS, you can only be accredited by one Recognised Accreditation Provider (RAP) at a time. While you may belong to multiple professional organisations, your formal accreditation must remain with a single RAP.

  • Transferring your accreditation? Simply request a transfer to Mediation Institute.
  • Staying with your current RAP? Our Practitioner Membership still gives you access to our professional resources, CPD, and ongoing support.
