Independent Complaint Handling
Mediation Institute provides an independent Complaint Handling Service approved by the Australian Government Attorney-General's Department.
We manage complaints, appeals, and grievances relating to mediators, FDRPs, Family Group Conference Facilitators, other dispute resolution practitioners, and training organisations. You can read more here.

As an AMDRAS Recognised Accreditation Provider (RAP), we support practitioners throughout their careers with accreditation, professional development, ethical guidance, and an active professional community.

AMDRAS Accredited Mediator Renewal
Your two-year renewal fee includes both your Practitioner Membership and the AMDRAS Register Fee.
Practitioner Membership
Current: $380
From 1 August: $450
AMDRAS Register Fee
Current: $100
From 1 August: $120

Total Renewal Fee
Current: $480
From 1 August: $570
The AMDRAS Register Fee is included in this total.
What is the AMDRAS Register Fee?
The Register Fee supports the work of the AMDRAS Board in maintaining and developing Australia's national mediation accreditation scheme.
Practitioner Membership
For Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners, Family Group Conference Facilitators, and mediators accredited through another AMDRAS Recognised Accreditation Provider.
Current: $190 per year
From 1 August: $220 per year
Renew before 1 August 2026 to take advantage of the current pricing.
